About The Artist

Hey there & thank you for visiting my website! My name is Alyssa and I am an aspiring artist, coming out of Crete, IL! At a young age, I started drawing for fun. I had an idea to create a YouTube channel, which I did do but it fell off after a while, yet I still continued to draw. Attending Crete Elementary, my friends would always ask me to draw something for them to color. At home, my sisters would ask me to draw for them whether it was on paper or on their body with erasable markers like I was giving them a tattoo. That was definitely a lot of fun!

Overtime, drawing became a hobby. Come high school I didn't draw as much because of how consumed my time became from homework, clubs, activities, FRIENDS! Though, I slowly started to miss drawing. I realized how much peace it really brought me. At this point, I was drawing graffiti, bubble letters, cartoons and people. Years pass and once again, I put drawing to the side. When the 'Coronavirus' first became a thing and the government called for a shutdown in 2020, oddly, painting started to become very popular. I as well caught interest for it. I had a little extra time at that point so I started to paint. I was reminded of how much peace being creative brought me and I have continued with it ever since. Not only am I drawing, but I am drawing on a canvas, and painting it as well.

I realized this hobby I found so much peace in was actually my passion. I love to draw and paint. Instead of just creating art for myself, I started to do it for other people to hang in their homes. I have even drawn up tattoos for people.

Fast forward and here we are now. August 23, 2022, I am finally making the commitment to stay consistent with my passion. Me by myself or with a team behind me, I WILL be fortunate doing what I love. This past year has been really hard for me and I finally decided that enough was enough. I am turning a new leaf for my sons and I. Rewriting a new book for our future... Five years from now I will own my own art studio, potentially starting up a tattoo business, in addition to having a couple more businesses in mind!

With that being said, I would like to warmly introduce 'BOLD EXPRESION ART STUDIO' where we can escape the world for a while to gain some peace for at least a moment. You will have the option to order a painting from my portfolio or request a customized painting of your choice based on what I specialize in.
Further down you will then see events I am hosting and will be given access to book me for your next private Puff n' Paint, Sip N' Paint, Painting & Sipping, and even a kid friendly Sip N' Paint!
I was able to find my escape from the world through expressing my thoughts through painting, and I would like to use my platform to help people find their escape!
